Nowadays there are many ways for you to increase your website traffic. Recently I’ve subscribed to a few article marketing newsletters, and they show me how to build up massive traffic by using the power of articles. As you know, a website(or a blog) without traffic is nothing, especially now that there are so many competitors out there. Therefore you will have to keep on generating tons of traffic to your site, massive traffic.

Well you can also generate traffic by advertising your site, either with Google Adwords or advertise on other people’s websites. However, this is not guarantee will works and it is not free. You see, when you run advertising, all the visitors you are getting are not targeted enough. This is because most of the time visitors will read your article first, then only visit your site if they feel they like your content. It is hard to find such targeted traffic nowadays, except through articles.

2. Another way is that, you can include an ‘about’ author box in every of the articles you’re submitting. Which also means that you can always insert your site’s link into it, and works as backlink to your site. When search engine spider crawl over, your site will get higher ranking due to the increase of backlinks. Can you imagine that if you submitted your article to 50 directories, you will gain extra 50 backlinks from those high page rank article directory website. However, this method will took a longer time, but since you’re going to increase traffic for your site anyway, why don’t you try on both the fast and slow methods, right?

In addition, the article you wrote will serve as some kind of screening, to filter off untargeted visitors to your site. Those visitors who read your article definitely are looking for or feel interesting with your topic, thats the reason they read your article. Thus, traffic that generated from article marketing are highly targeted.
